Playa Frans sits on Bonaire’s northwest side and is one of the quieter beaches outside the tourist core. Fewer amenities, more calm and a pure local feel.
Good for a relaxed afternoon if you already know the famous west-coast spots. Bring water and shade. Check the surf before you enter the water; local snorkelling can be hit or miss depending on conditions.
